August camping trip in the Bighorn Mtns in Wyoming
Well we are back from our second trip of the season, we went to the Bighorn Mtns for the cool weather we camped on rd 124 off of hwy 14a at 9138 ft elev, it was in the 70's in the day and high 40's-mid 50's at night. We had a few nights of rain but the spot I chose is covered in decomposed granite so no mud issues. Our battery system did great we used a average of 7% of our battery capacity a day so we had no problems staying above the 80% mark on our batteries and we only used what was left in our 3 gal tank on our generator from the last trip I didn't add any fuel for for the 4 days we were there. The Bighorns were full of people as usual. There were only 3 other campers on this road and we never saw 2 of them, we did have a overnighter camp near us 1 night.
