I brought back to life another lantern today a 1967 Sears single mantle model 476.74550 which was made for Sears by Coleman this one required about $18 in parts.
First I cleaned up and repainted the frame with high temp paint and added a new burner cap & screen.
It had some rust in the tank and I used lead shot to clean that out.
A new generator, new seal for the fuel cap and soaking the pump leather in oil was also done.
I added a mantel and fired it up.
This site is all about camping and camping gear and our activities while camping. I will talk about camp sites, camping gear, our camp trailer mods, and our camping trips.
