I am posting this as a warning to potential buyers of new fuel cans, we got 2 of these at a local Lowe's store and I was not happy with the anti-flame net inserts this prevented the use of a electric pump till I removed them but the worst thing about them is they have no vent. I went to use the last of the fuel in one of the cans for our lawn mower after a camping trip and when I put the spout into the tank and press the nozzle button the pressure inside the can shot air into the lawnmower tank spraying me in the face and eyes with gasoline.
Avoid the type of can without a external vent on them if possible.
This site is all about camping and camping gear and our activities while camping. I will talk about camp sites, camping gear, our camp trailer mods, and our camping trips.
