Securing your awning down

Wind is the worst enemy of your awning, it can rip it right off your trailer. Here are some ideay to help keep it down when the wind picks up and you are away or in bed.

First put it away every day before you leave or go to bed - this is better than not using it at all but what a pain in the butt.

Second add deflappers to help with the fabric movement.

Next add tent stacks or dog tie outs with adjustable flat straps or ratchet straps.

Add weight to help keep the awning down.

Glow in the dark tape review

I put up a post before showing the glow in the dark tape I added to my steps and step handle, I used Duck Brand Glow in the dark tape.

The tape holds well in the weather but loses it's glow to quick, so if you purchase it be prepared to replace it frequently for best results.
